Tielking & Son basement finish came to my rescue. I own a house that is 100 years old. The walls were bowing out & the 2 front rooms were sagging extremely bad. They brought their crew in, jacked my floors up to where they were even. Then they installed 14 feet beams across the underside of my floor. They pulled my walls back in, everything went really fast and smooth.

I'm an elderly woman who doesn't trust people in my house. Unlike other contractors they were very polite, and I trusted what they said.

We were reluctant to install one of the ventilators in our crawlspace because we didn't really think it would do the job. It's a really big area. Mr. Tielking said he would give our money back if we were not satisfied. The smell was giving me bad headaches. Believe it or not 3 to 4 weeks later, no smell or odors, and the crawlspace was much dryer. They definitely work.

I had a really bad musty, stagnant odor in my basement. I contacted Tielking & Son to give me an estimate to install an EZ Breathe system in my home. Within 24 hours the unit was installed and running. About a week later the odor was gone. My wife really likes the idea of no buckets to empty or filter to clean. We are going to have them finish our basement in the summer of 2008.

When we called Tielking & Son we had talked to 3 other basement companies. We didn't really have the money to do what we wanted to do at the time. Mr. Tielking told me that he didn't have a problem doing our basement in phases. It took the pressure off us and our budget. Nobody else was willing to do that. Six to seven months later we had what we wanted and were not broke. Our basement is on Tielking & Son's website. It is without a doubt the nicest room in the house. Our kids love it. It's so relaxing to have friends & family over to entertain at the bar. The lighting was very carefully installed behind & around the front of the bar. It's beautiful.

My husband and I had this great idea of putting stucco on our basement walls and installing a suspended ceiling in our entire basement. I saw the look on Mr. Tielking's face when I was explaining our little project to him. He finally talked us out of the stucco idea. They came to our house 3 days later to start the renovation. We kept the suspended ceiling because it was already half way done. We left on vacation for 10 days the day the project started. Mr. Tielking said it would take no more than 21 days to complete. We were handing Tielking & Son their final check 19 days from the start. They were very clean, drywall hangers & finishers were very polite. We have absolutely no complaints. Very fast, very clean work area, very professional. Highly recommend.
